Perfect for

Curious observers aged 3+: Moveable pieces make daily weather easy to discuss.
Early science play: Moon phases, temperature, wind and rain become hands-on ideas.
Home learning spaces: A beautiful wooden board invites a quick daily weather ritual.

Turn today’s forecast into hands-on discovery with the Wooden Weather Station. Children can set the season and weather, move the temperature band, show rainfall and wind strength, and rotate through eight named moon phases. The nine weather symbols tuck neatly into the station when not in use—ready for tomorrow, when the forecast may involve sunshine, showers or extremely localised teddy-bear weather.

How it supports learning

Daily observation builds weather vocabulary, sequencing, pattern recognition and an early understanding of seasons, temperature, rainfall, wind and moon phases.

Key Features

Interactive wooden weather and season board

Tender Leaf Toys are hand-crafted in Indonesia from SVLK-certified reclaimed rubberwood. Each toy is finished with non-toxic, water-based paints, then certified to EN 71, ASTM and AS/NZS standards. For every tree they up-cycle, the brand plants another, letting you delight your little one today and nurture a greener tomorrow. So when you order a Tender Leaf Toy from Curious Moonbeam, at least 2 trees get planted. With your help, we choose to nurture the earth for the children of tomorrow.
