Pond Dipping Magnetic Fishing Puzzle - Tender Leaf Toys | Wooden Toy NZ

Encourage curiosity and coordination with this beautifully illustrated Pond Dipping magnetic fishing puzzle from Tender Leaf Toys. Designed for ages 3 and up, this engaging wooden toy invites children to explore a vibrant pond scene by using an extendable magnetic fishing rod to ‘catch’ eight charming pond animals.

Each piece is shaped and painted to represent a unique creature – from dragonflies to ducks – introducing early ecological awareness and animal identification. As little ones guide the rod to lift each magnetic piece, they build hand-eye coordination, precision and problem-solving skills in a calm, purposeful way. Adjust the length of the rod to suit your child’s fine motor development and challenge level.

This Montessori-aligned activity supports solo focus or cooperative play and makes a delightful addition to any home learning shelf.

Key features:

• Encourages hand-eye coordination and fine motor control
• Introduces ecosystems and pond wildlife
• Adjustable rod supports varying skill levels
• Ideal for Montessori-aligned and nature-based learning
• Made from eco-friendly, child-safe materials
• Perfect for independent or parent-guided play
